Growing up in South Jamaica, Queens, and later moving to Woodside Projects, Prinz lived a rebellious life that ultimately led to incarceration. Prior to and following his outlawism, Prinz was known for his gripping street music. Prinz’s music comes from life experiences, a raw soul that grabs the attention of many. His flow is reminiscent of a classic MC and one that is missed by many in today’s hip hop scene.
Prinz’s delivery and freestyle abilities landed him on DJ Kay Slay’s Streetsweeper Series, and Down With The King Classics. Soon he appeared on mixtapes of many noted DJs, such as Envy, Enuff, Dirty Harry, Kool Kid, Suge White, and Clinton Sparks. Prinz began to build an underground following with one song in particular “Gun Talk” which also garnered A&R attention. He also had songs with many industry artists such as Scarface, Anthony Hamilton, Lloyd, R Kelly, Maino, Uncle Murda, Jadakiss, Jim Jones, Bun B, Mike Beck, Busta Rhymes, Etc. After appearing on many mixtapes, DVDs, and in magazines, Prinz went on the Black Hand Prison Tour with Ja Rule, Papoose, Styles P, and Maino.
Next up is his upcoming mix album “Angel With A Dirty Face”. Prinz is on the grind and continues to develop his presence and brands within the urban market and community. Prinz is also an independent businessman, who has started his own entertainment company, “Spaceship Music Group.”. As is our motto, Black Hand is more than just music!
