Bheemsen Toom is a native of Kalwakota, Medipally Mandal, Karimnagar district. He passed H.S.V examination from Korulla situated in Karimnagar district. After qualifying the H.S. examination, he graduated in B.Sc. from Jagityala Degree College based in Karimnagar district. Apart from completing the B.Sc. course, he has also mastered himself in L.LB. from Osmania University of Hyderabad.
His family comprises of wife and two sons. T. Meenakumari, the wife of Bheemsen Toom , served as Chief justice of High Court of A.P. Presently, she is retired. One of sons named T. Venkata Pranay Kumar is a L.L.B graduate and presently he is an advocate by profession. His other son T. Subramanya Pavan Kalyan has completed his M.S. from the USA and he is working as a software engineer in a reputed IT consulting firm.
While pursuing his B.Sc. program form Jagityala Degree College, he played active role in Telangana movement in the year 1969 and he was unanimously elected as the office bearer of the movement which soared at its peak during that time.
After completion of L.L.B from Osmania University in the year 1974, he enrolled himself with A.P. High Court where he practiced under various branches of law.
He has a sound political history associated with him. He contested as an MLA from Buggaram Assembly constituency in the year 1989. He also contested as M.P from Malkajgiri Parliament Constituency during 2009 elections representing T.D.P. He also served as a Polit Bureau Member of T.D.P and presently, he is contesting from Secunderabad Parliamentary Constituency, representing T.R.S for the forth coming Lok Sabha election, 2014 for the development of society in Hyderabad and Secunderabad twin cities.
He has a dream of inviting new investors for the industrial development in Telangana state which will boost new employment opportunities for the youth. Apart from focusing on IT industry development, Bheemsen Toom has a dream to develop real estate and transportation sectors and create huge job opportunities for those sectors. He also promises to provide 24 hours electricity and water supply to the people of Hyderabad.
Bheemsen Toom has plans to upgrade slum areas of Hyderabad and reducing the traffic pollution problems and developing satellite townships around the cities.
Apart from being as a politician, Bheemsen Toom is a renowned educationist. Presently he is holding the position of the Vice Chairman of few Delhi Public School branches like Nacharam, Secunderabad and Mahendra Hills.
