InventHelp’s Invention & New Product Exposition (INPEX) is pleased to announce that Brook Drumm, one of the experts from Science Channel’s ALL-AMERICAN MAKERS, will attend INPEX 2015 and meet with inventors. The 30th Anniversary show, held June 16-18, will be at the Monroeville Convention Center, just outside of downtown Pittsburgh.
Brook Drumm has been making and creating things for as long as he can remember. He is the owner and founder of Printrbot, one of the leading 3D printing companies in the world. Give Drumm a problem and he will solve it – the harder the better. He can make, build and tinker through any sticky situation. INPEX exhibitors will have the unique opportunity to meet and talk with him at a networking event Tuesday evening, June 16th.
Each week on ALL-AMERICAN MAKERS, four top inventors/makers from around the nation pitch their homegrown products to a panel of three experts. Along with Drumm are mechanical designer and robots expert Brian Roe and venture capitalist Marc Portney. Each maker’s product is put through a series of rigorous testing by Drumm and Roe to find out how it works and if it lives up to its claim. Should the product make the grade, it is then subjected to the scrutiny of real consumer focus groups. Based on the feedback of Drumm and Roe plus the focus group’s input, Portney decides if he wants to invest his own money in the maker’s business and help bring the product to the store shelves.
The show’s first season recently premiered on the Science Channel, a division of Discovery Communications, Inc., and a home for the thought provocateur, the individual who is unafraid to ask the killer questions of “how” and “why not.”
“We are so excited for our inventors to have the opportunity to meet with Brook at INPEX 2015,” said Nicole Lininger, INPEX Director. “As an expert that tests products for a weekly television show, we know Brook will be able to give our exhibitors valuable insight about their products and inventions.”
