On the other hand, those who used the medication seven days a week experienced a 24 percent increased risk. In a study from the Johns Hopkins Center on Aging and Health, it was found that cognitive decline was not only faster among individuals with hearing loss, but also those with hearing loss were more susceptible to developing cognitive decline.
