Totowa, NJ — Located on 465 Route 46 West in the Babies ‘R’ Us and Applebee’s Plaza with easy access from Route 80 from Exits 54 and 55, the modern children’s urgent care facility contains 13 spacious world-themed examination rooms plus a modern digital X-ray machine. The facility was designed with a mission to reduce the wait times that are increasingly long at the nearby emergency rooms. Open 363 days a year for convenience (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas day) the pediatric urgi-center is open Monday through Saturday from 12 noon-11 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-11 p.m. on Sunday. No appointments are necessary as walk-ins are welcome.

The center’s highly trained medical personnel treat a comprehensive array of illnesses and injuries. There is also an in-house lab provides that fast urinary, blood, rapid strep/flu/mono/rsv test and results. In addition, most insurance are accepted, including HMOs and Medicaid.
The after-hours clinic provides care for common pediatric illnesses and injuries including fevers, cold, cough, influenza, croup, sore/strep throats, skin conditions, respiratory illnesses, tick bites, stomachaches, diarrhea, vomiting, abscesses, ear infections and eye infections. The experienced physicians at Kinder Pediatric provide stitches repair for lacerations, removal of foreign objects, and treat broken bones, sprains and other minor traumas that are not life threatening.
