Married women play an irreplaceable, vital role in local communities across the United States and NJ & PA are no exception. Often overlooked by many, Mrs. New Jersey and Mrs. Pennsylvania United States Organization hope to change that in a very exciting way, organizing, promoting and holding pageants that celebrate the married woman and put her on the pedestal she rightly deserves.
Many people would argue that the married woman is the foundation of the family on one hand and of the entire community on the other. Sadly, this important role often seems to be taken for granted. Stepping up to help change this perception for the better in New Jersey and Pennsylvania is the Mrs. New Jersey and Mrs. Pennsylvania United States Organization, who recently announced the exciting rebirth of the pageant, after a few years of the organization not holding a pageant, but instead offering “at large” candidates. The new event combines both states for the first time ever, in an exciting and prestigious pageant that celebrates the beauty and drive of married women in the two eastern states and gives these women a chance to step into the spotlight and be praised for their accomplishments. The response to the news has been very enthusiastic, with many families quickly encouraging the wives and mothers in their families to send in applications. The organization itself is now being directed by Andrea Graham, a highly motivated figure with very deep experience in the pageant world. The first Mrs. New Jersey and Mrs. Pennsylvania United States Joint Pageant is scheduled for May 21, 2017, with the new winners going on to compete with 50 other women later in the summer 2017 for the title of Mrs. United States.
“We are very happy to be able to invite married women from New Jersey and Pennsylvania to apply for the 2017 Mrs. New Jersey and Pennsylvania United States Pageant,” commented Graham about the exciting event. “Married women interested in competing in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania United States Pageant are encouraged to take advantage of this remarkable opportunity that could lead to their being named not just the local Mrs. New Jersey and Pennsylvania, but could even end up with them becoming Mrs. United States! Our pageant is scheduled to be held in May 21, 2017 at the Yvonne Theater at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ and we know it's going to be a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.”
According to the organization, to qualify a woman must be a natural born female at least 21 years of age; married and living with their spouse; a citizen of the United States; of good moral character, never posed nude, and be healthy, beautiful and poised with an appealing personality; and be able to prove that she either: attends school/college, or owns or leases residential, commercial, industrial or farmland property in New Jersey and Pennsylvania or be an active member of the military.
