RLG International’s Leadership Coach invited to join exclusive community of business trailblazers.
Houston, TX — Robert W. Mason, a corporate strategist, manufacturing operations expert, and change management guru, currently heading RLG International’s offshore Oil & Gas practice, was this week selected to join the Forbes Coaches Council, an invitation-only community for world class business leaders and executives making a splash in the international coaching industry.
Mason will join the other Forbes Coaches Council members, all of whom were specially hand-selected for their innovative talents and industry-shaking attitudes towards business coaching and leadership development. Together, they comprise a curated network of successful peers with access to a variety of Council-only benefits and resources that include offering up discoveries and insight for articles in Forbes magazine and online publication.
All of the Forbes Councils combine a streamlined, innovative approach to connecting their specially selected individuals for extensive resources and global reach. Mason will be connecting to other Forbes Council members with the expertise to grow the RLG International coaching operation business. The dedicated Forbes Coaches Council members will act as an extension of Mason’s team by providing information, insight, and support for his management decisions and expansion plans.
“I am incredibly honored to join with the highest ranks of leadership developers and business coaches in the world,” said Mason. “This is an elite community where coaching ideas are formulated and born for the very first time. I am excited to be part of the coaching discussions, and look forward to contributing to Forbes’s iconic content and article development in the coming years.”
Recognized for his role with RLG International, Mason has championed the industry’s first performance-based subsea service agreement; establishing the strategy, operational methodologies and metrics across GE’s O&G business unit. Mason’s efforts realized $600M in new contracts as well as a new $3.5B market opportunity for GE. He led in the development and deployment of Seadrill’s offshore maintenance strategy, and also curated a new standard to improve BOP reliability with BP’s leadership.
“I speak on behalf of the Forbes Coaches Council when I say we are very excited for Mason’s addition to our innovative team,” said Scott Gerber, founder of the Forbes Coaches Council. “Our Council wouldn’t be what it is without our thought-provoking expert community members, and Mason undoubtedly fits the bill for what we seek in new members. We look forward to collaborating with Mason and helping to support his endeavors and projects at RLG International.”
Mason facilitates specific leadership development and coaching through RLG International. He is constantly working in the areas of communication, accountability, involvement and response, skill development, and individual growth as it relates to driving breakthrough performance.
Now part of the Forbes Coaches Council, Mason will receive a personalized introduction to each member based on his attributes, career role, and needs moving forward. Notably, Mason will have access to concierge teams, personalized connections, peer-to-peer learning, a business service marketplace, and the opportunity to share his leadership thoughts with the infamous Forbes Magazine.
