The book, now 40% longer and still available free for download, also has new sections that provide an assessment of mobile content delivery, and an overview of how learning management systems (LMS), training management systems (TMS), and training delivery platforms (TDP) all fit together to improve engagement and efficiencies before, during and after a training course.

“We received such great feedback when we first published The Future of Training, and we listened to what our readers told us in preparing this new edition.” said Jeff Robson, Author of The Future of Training . “It highlights the benefits and drawbacks of different systems and provides readers with insights into what the future may hold for training companies, trainers and learners,” he added.

According to the 2014 Training Industry Report by Training Magazine, 74% of companies currently use Learning management systems (LMS) and Virtual classroom tools, and 44% of companies intent to purchase online learning tools and systems.
