Canberra, Australia -  Launched in 2005, Clear Complexions was set up by Suzie Hoitink. She had decided to start Clear Complexions both to address her skin issues and those of other people.

At the time, she was completing a nursing degree course. During her work for a cosmetic surgeon, she came across light-based therapies. She learned more about this, as she is a sufferer of chronic acne and hormonal pigmentation.

It dawned on her that such technologies could offer a real solution to patients like her. And it soon became apparent that there was a gap in the market. There were few solutions between what a beautician and a dermatologist could offer.

Clear Complexions was the answer to her prayers. It could offer something sufferers like Suzie could only dream about in the past.

When Suzie opened her first clinic back in 2005, she had a particular philosophy in mind. She wanted to individualise each treatment and only use the best equipment for the job.

Clear Complexions will then offer the best treatments available for their particular issues. They use a variety of advanced equipment, such as the Omnilux Medical Photodynamic system. It's a machine developed by Manchester University in the UK. It's a non-surgical treatment involves stimulating the skin's cells to kick-start the renewal process.
