January 15, 2015: The Deserts of the South West USA tour has been announced by Light & Land, a leader in photography tours and workshops around the world. This tour is set among one of the best regions for landscape photography. Eroded sandstone, national monuments, and canyons and wilderness areas will provide the perfect backdrop for educational instruction and building a photography portfolio.
Scheduled for April 15-26, 2015, the tour will begin in Las Vegas and set out for Valley of Fire State Park. Other stops will include Escalante National Monument; Kenab, Utah; Zion National Park; and Grand Canyon National Park. The tour will also pass through Page, Arizona and the surrounding countryside. Throughout, rock formations formed over millions of years will dominate the landscape and be focal points of the photographic journey.
Tour goers will also see Paria Canyon and go on to the Four Corners region. In Northern New Mexico, they will photograph Bisti Bandlands and more. They will then visit Whitesands National Monument with hits giant white dunes.
The entire tour will be guided via a 4×4 vehicle and travel among remote backcountry areas. Antony Spenser and Justin Reznick will lead the tour and offer the photography expertise. Transportation, single accommodation, airport transfers, and some breakfasts are included in the total price.
