The write-up, the assumed purpose of which would have been to popularize barge cruises among the US audience, gives an overview of what the type of holiday offered by top UK barging company European Waterways consists of, before going over some of the most popular destinations for an European river cruise.
Unsurprisingly, most of the destinations included in the article are located in France, a country that continues to hold the mantle for most popular.
