Tampa, FL; May 15th, 2014: The Tampa Bay Entrepreneurship Gala has named the recipient for its annual awards, naming the founders of Buddy Brew Coffee as the Entrepreneurs of the Year and the Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association as the Social Entrepreneurs of the Year.
Each of these organizations will receive their awards at the 2014 Tampa Bay Entrepreneurship Gala to be held on Friday, May 16th, at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island.
Dave and Susan Ward, owners and founders Buddy Brew Coffee, Michael Dove of Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association and Richard George, President of Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay will be in attendance to receive the awards at the event, during which Bob Circosta, television’s first ever home-shopping host will deliver the keynote speech. Student and Alumni awards will also be presented.
The Tampa Bay Entrepreneurship Gala is organized by graduates of the USF Center for Entrepreneurship’s Master’s program, to benefit the Michael W. Fountain Endowed Scholarship, named after the current Director of the USF Tampa Center for Entrepreneurship. The vision of the endowment scholarship is to help grow the dreams of young entrepreneurs through mentorship, financial support, and additional resources needed to help start their business.

This year’s Outstanding Alumni Award recipient Greg Ross-Munro, Founder and CEO of Sourcetoad, has been growing an amazing tech-based company right here in Tampa Bay. ” said Jennifer Sineway, current Chair of the USF Alumni Society of Entrepreneurs.
