31 July, 2014: Ty Chesleyfell in love with music at a very early age. Raised in Georgia with family that played music, his love for music was in his blood. Ty says, “I remember my mom telling me that at our family reunions I would just stare from my booster seat bobbing my head when my uncle Vernon played that fiddle and the family broke out that good ole bluegrass sound!”. When he was in his teens, Ty rediscovered his love for country music and singing. He started singing all the time to the point that his mom and sisters would tease him and tell him to stop singing. But that didn’t stop Ty, he would go in his room, crank up the music and sing to the top of his lungs thus developing into the strong country vocals that we know today. Ty’s musical influences range from Merle Haggard to Eric Church. Country music is his passion and he hails, “It’s ‘real life music’ and that’s what I love about it!”.
In January of 2014, Ty was a contestant on the TV show Before the Fame (Atlanta, GA) in which he won the finals for the country genre on the show. Since then, Ty has focused on the songwriting aspect of his career to develop himself into a better singer/songwriter. He has recently been able to work with the highly acclaimed music producer Sean Clyde at C&C Media and looks forward to doing more projects with him and others in the music industry.
Ty is a good old country boy that loves his “outlaw country rockin”. He attributes his drive for music to his wife who has supported him and pushed him even when he wanted to call it quits. “Bottom line is I’m just a country boy from Georgia trying to chase a childhood dream, and put my country music out there for people to hear!”. Look for Ty Chesleyas an up and coming force in country music!
