Hollywood, CA; 12, December 2014: Vincent-N-Roxxy, a new crime drama set to release in 2015, will include actor Jeff Gum, which has Emile Hirsch and Zoe Kravitz set to star. The rock-n-roll flick is being produced by Keith Kjarval and Unified Pictures, in association with Media House Capital, and Jeff Rice. It will be directed by the film’s screenwriter Gary Michael Shultz.
The film follows a down-on-their-luck pair of rebels who fall in love and fall apart when their violent pasts catch up with them. “’Vincent-N-Roxxy’ is a very personal story for me and, at its core, it is a story about love, family and the unrelenting presence of violence,” said Schultz.
Jeff Gum will play Johnny and Beau Knapp (Southpaw) will play Daryl, both members of a local metal band that will be the foil to Emile Hirsch’s character throughout the film.
Gum has recently been seen on Fox’s hit TV show New Girl and is currently shooting Who’s Driving Doug, a film directed by David Conley.
Aaron L. Gilbert and John R. Sherman are executive producers. Fortitude International will be responsible for handling international sales, and domestic distribution rights will be handled by WME.
