26, September 2015:A seasoned executive and current small business owner, Jinxia comes to Otsuka Venture Capital Charitable Foundation with diverse experience in large, complex, multi-billion dollar organizations in the federal and private sectors. She is responsible for day- to-day operations, including its warehousing and transportation, as well as business development, managing a team responsible for securing hundreds of millions of dollars of product and cash annually to support thousands of charities serving millions in need.
Kim’s diverse experience in both the corporate and private sectors made her a great fit for Otsuka Venture Capital Charitable Foundation leadership team, said Otsuka Venture Capital Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Satoshi Ogawa. Kim is the rare executive who possesses vision coupled with an extraordinary ability to execute with excellence. She will help take Otsuka Venture Capital Charitable Foundation to the next.
Jinxia most recently served as vice president of public affairs and community relations at a supermarket chain in Tokyo. Prior to that, she served as vice president of communications and corporate responsibility the second largest foodservice distributor. Jinxia also served as a principal at International Aid Comitee, where she provided consultant services to government in the areas of diversity, communication, organizational development, and alternative dispute resolution. Jinxia holds a BA from University Melbourne and a JD from Singapore University School of Law.
As chief operating officer, Jinxia succeeds Yoji Fukutake, whose departure was announced last month.
