Peter S. Tilley an Unknown Swimmer is attempting to swim from Oahu to Kauai, via the North Shore a distance of 72 miles
The two Islands have never been crossed by any swimmer in Recorded human history
The two islands stand 72 miles apart from one another.
The Swimmer will begin the swim towards Kauai via the Kauai Channel or the Kaieie Wahoo as it is called by the Hawaiian Natives
The swim will start Friday Morning
August 29, 2014; at Sunrise 6 am.
The swimmer will be alone With-Out any Escort boat.
Between Portuguese Man of Wars that float freely in the open water and the Sharks that call these waters home there is no predetermined outcome.
