Keith & Margo’s Murder Mystery Texas, a company that provides a variety of interactive dinner theater-style entertainment throughout Texas, has announced a weekly show in Dallas. The regular Saturday evening shows will take place at the historic Old Mill Inn at Fair Park Dallas. Old Mill Inn Restaurant, 3611 Grand Avenue, Dallas, TX 75210
Murder Mystery Texas considers the setting of their weekly Dallas show to be perfect for their interactive detective story entertainment. Beyond the Old Mill Inn where the weekly Dallas show takes place, the Fair Park is also home to Dallas Summer Musicals, the Dallas Opera and the Hall of State. The history of these buildings dates back to the 1936 Texas Centennial and World’s Fair. Because the area has witnessed so many historically important events, the entertainment company believes it will bring an added element of authenticity to their mystery narratives which often include historical themes. Information concerning Dallas mystery dinners, weekends, and Galas is provided at http://murdermysterytexas.com/locations/dallas/
The weekly Dallas show places an emphasis on the interactive elements that Dinner Theater offers. Attendees of the performances work together with their friends, family and new acquaintances at their table to solve the murder mysteries that are acted out by the performers.
The price of a ticket to the weekly show is $63 per person ($54 plus tax & tips). The $63 ticket includes a hors d’oeuvres reception before dinner, as well as a 3-course dinner (vegetarians accommodated with 48 hours prior notice). A cash bar is also available at the event. Throughout the evening, both during the hors d’oeuvres reception and at the dinner table, guests are surrounded by actors who embed themselves into the audience and become “suspects” of the murder investigation. Team prizes are awarded to groups of audience members who can correctly solve the mystery or come up with the most creative, entertaining responses. https://www.facebook.com/mmysterytexas/
The dress code for the weekly Saturday evening Dallas shows, which begin at 7:30pm, is upscale casual. Murder Mystery Texas does not recommend the weekly show for children under 13 years of age, as the plots of the murder mysteries may involve adult situations and themes. A group discount is available for groups of 10 or more. Tickets may be purchased online at the website for Murder Mystery Texas or by contacting them by phone; further details can be found at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/keith-and-margos-ultimate-mystery-dinner-adventure-at-fair-park-dallas-tickets-32237926506
