Rand Rusher, a registered nurse and cosmetic injector in Beverly Hills, CA, was honored to have been one of the invited faculty members and presenters at THE Aesthetics Show 2016. The event was held on July 7th to July 10th at The Wynn hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
THE Aesthetic Show draws in members of the aesthetics industry, including registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants and medical doctors, from around the world each year. This meeting is designed to showcase new procedures, the latest technologies and products. THE Aesthetic Show is a rigorous interactive meeting with breakout workshops, lectures and live demonstrations.
Rand Rusher was both a presenter and demonstrator at THE Aesthetic Show. Rand presented “Balancing the face: Case Studies”. Two of the studies he presented on focused on using dermal fillers to rebalance the patient’s face by targeting the chin, temples, cheeks and gummy smile. Some of the fillers used included Botox, Juvéderm and Voluma. The last case study was about the reversal of overdone injections. He used Hylarounidase to dissolve the filler and subtly enhanced the lips with Restylane Silk.
Rand also presented at “The Art of Male Aesthetics” symposium. He focused on male cosmetic injectables and the differences between men and women in the aesthetics industry. Rand also taught at the hands-on "advanced dermal fillers" where he conducted live demonstrations on patients. Students were allowed to observe and ask questions while Rand was doing live injections using Neuromodulator techniques with Botox and Dysport and dermal filler techniques using Voluma, Juvéderm, Restylane and Restylane Lyft.
