Atlanta, GA; 09, June 2015: Regency Home Care of North Atlanta, an in-home care provider for seniors, has named Kathleen McLaughlin as their new Director of Client Services.
Ms. McLaughlin plans to serve the Regency Home Care team and its clients with a major focus on the Residences by Regency, Atlanta’s first nursing home alternative. In her new role, she will be responsible for helping families find the right care for their loved ones and informing them of all their options through the process.
Ms. McLaughlin is a New Jersey native and studied Public Relations at the University of South Carolina. She has a diverse marketing background that includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities, and is very knowledgeable about all levels and types of long term care. Kathleen is also the Community Relations Chair for the Atlanta Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
“It is a privilege and an honor to serve Atlanta’s seniors through Regency Home Care and Residences by Regency,” McLaughlin said. “Many older adults wish to age in the comfort of their own homes, and Regency’s home care services allow them to do so safely. Now through Residences by Regency, when it becomes time for a higher level of care or when 24-hour supervision is necessary, such as for a person with Alzheimer’s, there is an alternative to nursing home care. A Residences by Regency home houses only four adults and has a caregiver in the home 24/7 to assist with needs. Regency is the first in Atlanta to offer this family-like senior living alternative.” McLaughlin noted. If you have questions about the new Residences by Regency or Regency Home Care, contact Kathleen McLaughlin at [email protected] or (404) 625-5313.
