Citrix Ready-Partner SEH Shows myUTN USB Virtualization Solutions At European Citrix Event

Bielefeld, Germany (September 24, 2012). ““ SEH announces its first exhibition at Citrix Synergy 2012 in Barcelona this year from October 17 to 19. SEH specializes in network technology and is a Citrix Ready Partner since August. Participating in this all-European Citrix symposium, SEH will present its myUTN branded USB virtualization solutions (USB-over-IP) to Citrix partners and customers. The core of myUTN solutions is the UTN Manager software tool, developed by SEH. This is listed as a network management application for Citrix XenApp in the Citrix Ready Product Catalog. In Citrix environments, server instances are independent of hardware, making USB device access problematic. MyUTN can provide these servers and their workstations with fixed accessible USB ports regardless of server or workstation location.

Citrix Synergy is held annually in Barcelona as the European complement to Citrix Synergy San Francisco. This meeting of the European Citrix community is considered to be one of the most important IT events of the year. It offers more than 60 lectures, workshops, hand-on labs, and open discussion sessions to the circa 5,000 visitors expected. The focus will be on topics such as cloud computing, virtualization, and network technologies and their combined influence on business, projects and the IT world at large.

As a new Citrix Ready Partner SEH will be among the exhibitors for the first time. The company will present its USB virtualization solutions (USB-over-IP) of the myUTN brand specifically to Citrix partners and users. These USB device servers are equipped with a broad range of functions for managing USB devices via the network. They enable users to safely and easily access and manage a large number of USB devices in a network just as if they were locally connected. In virtualized environments such as Citrix XenApp, this solves the problem of workstations without any USB interfaces. The myUTN product series by SEH also includes special solutions for the use of hardware license keys (dongles), scanners, and SD cards in virtualized environments.
