Price, Utah; 20, April 2015: A native of Utah, Tab Davis has always had an affinity for classic rock. After growing up listening to classic rock and hair metal, Davis decided to create his own brand of music, an extension on his love for the rock genre and passion for innovating it. Released in 2014, his first two albums titled “Breakin’ Out” and “U Know U Want It” are the products of five long years of work and dedication to his craft.

Ever-changing guitar rhythms and deep songwriting highlight Davis’ artistic achievements. Each track on each of the albums is crafted with care, possessing its own artistic edge and deep personal message. In many ways, the music of Tab Davis is a commentary on the human experience and the willingness to delve into the human psyche. All of this is done without staying too serious or becoming lampooned into a specific sound. Unlike many classic rock influenced artists, Davis believes that in terms of creative potential, the sky’s the limit.

Recorded in TAB’s own creative corner of the world, “Breakin’ Out” and “U Know U Want It” have the raw sound that can only be obtained in a home studio. The epitome of a DIY artist, Davis’ music is wholly his own, drawn from a wealth of life experiences and recorded right inside his home. The two albums are the first step in what Davis hopes will be a foray into the modern vein of classic rock. During the next six months, he plans to put a band together and begin touring. Finding no shortage of creative spark, he continues to write songs, which he plans to release on a third album down the road.

Falling into the category of a true underground release, the albums are only available on Davis’ website, www.tabshardrock.com, where users can either download individual songs as well as entire albums. Users can also order a physical copy of the albums, which include album info and cover art. Davis’ music can also be found on YouTube at http://youtu.be/7ydd1Qr9J9M, where he currently has four videos available for viewing.
